Wrong question.

If you search online for an answer to this question, you’ll find answers.  Lots of them.  There’s even a site that states, “You don’t need reinvention!”

What’s the problem?  

How do I ReInvent myself after 60?The foundational issue with answers from external sources is this:  Even if you incorporated some of these reinvention answers, they might not work for you.  The process is as important as the result.

Going through a structured process with expert guidance is much more valuable than the hit or miss method.  “Almost all quality improvement comes via simplification of design, manufacturing…layout, processes and procedures.” ~ Tom Peters

What is the best question? 

The best question to ask yourself is “Am I open to submit myself to the process of discovering and experiencing reinvention?”  Henry Cloud, in his bestselling book, Necessary Endings: The Employees, Businesses, and Relationships That All of Is Have to Give Up in Order to Move Forward, nails it: “Wisdom comes from experience, either the experience of others or of oneself. And to let experience do its work, a person has to be open to receiving the lessons that it has to teach.”
